I love her. She used to yell at me because I would talk a lot but no one else in the class. If she does that to you, just set her straight and she will be very good to you. She makes a lot of mistakes in grading but just confront her and she will fix it!
I have Brit Lit 1 with her right now. The class is an easy A if you have half a brain. However, she has no control over the students and can't teach at all. Maybe she was better when she was hired, but nowadays she perfectly represents the problems inherant in the tenure system in the public school system.
A lot of people seem to dislike Ms. Martin, and I can understand why, but don't listen to them. She's a very good teacher, and she knows her materials and loves teaching, she just has some odd quirks.
Boring teacher. Doesn't make any of the classes exciting. She always gives us a big project to do every week; doesn't matter if you're in Mythology or in Film Studies with her. Odd voice too.
Ms. Martin is alright for a teacher. At least she tries to make the story interesting when you don't get it. But her tests are confusing sometimes! Even if you did study for them, some Q's are hard!!!
Her class is an instant cure for insomnia. All you need to do is have a general idea of what's going on. I can sleep the entire hour; she's blissfully unaware of EVERYTHING! And her cats?! Bizarre...
She's a good teacher, she knows her stuff, but kind of odd at times. All the sci-fi stuff on the walls wierds me out quite often...and school just started a month ago.
I had her junior year and I would have to say that was the most boring, peice of garbage class I have ever had to sit through.
never had a class this easy but your writing will get worse and u will so be unprepared for next year
Mrs Martin you were a great teacher and made me realize how much i love english soo don't listen to what everyone else is saying and keep up the good work
i think ms martin is sweet and shes really easy and nice but she would be a better middle school teacher
by far the worst english teacher ever. For those who had Grover in 8th grade, they know that she would tear her apart!
