oldschool literary genious of the 1800s lost in a modern world full of electronics and Internet
She's a great teacher. People just don't like her because they think she's easy, but when she catches them talking while she is, she gets mad. As long as you keep quiet, focus on your work and study You'll be fine. Oh yeah take notes on what she says it really helps because all her tests are basically her lectures(word for word no lie). Great teacher who improved my writing
Mrs. Baugher is the nicest person ever! She'll help you whenever you need her, and give her honest opinion on your work. She isn't always very clear with her assignments and it's very hard to find out what the homework is because her board is so messy. She is very into literature, and I think she would be better off teaching AP Lit than Language and Composition.
She's actually cares about her students. While she may forget to inform us about important due dates, if we bring it up in class she will listen to us and help us figure out what is best for us. I love her as a teacher and as a person. Anyone who does not like her, needs to pay attention in class because yes, she does say important things and you should listen!
Her class is awfully boring. She never tells the class what the homework is. She doesn't have a clear idea of what her students are capable of. For example, today she gave a 100 point quiz on 8 chapters of a book. I have not picked up anything useful from her class. The only thing I learned in her class was that the Bedford Reader makes a great pillow when you're sleepy in her boring class.
She's a really nice person but gives pointless assignments and always forgets to tell her classes about an upcoming essay or assignment due. She has tests on unnecessary material then gives a whole monologue on how it is important when it's really not. Shes going to make us all fail the AP test. Also, her grading system where she averages the progress reports and just has letter grades is messed.
She is a really, really nice teacher and works with you extremely well if you go to her for one-on-one explanations. However, maybe it's just my class but she doesn't seem to be able to control us. Her class is easy. Too easy. We have a couple of big projects here and there but it's not an AP work load overall, as it should be. I'm not sure if we can be prepared well enough for the AP by May.
She gives an appropriate amount of homework, if you do some every night. When I had to go to india for a funeral, she was very helpful and didnt pile me up with work. She's very understanding. Overall, she's a great teacher.
She always forgets to tell our class what the homework is and then blames us for not having it. She also cannot remember peoples names. She also piles on like a weeks worth of homework on one night.
english ap w/ her is a lot of work that comes in bursts (you'll have nothing to do for wks, then all of a sudden loads). however, interesting discussions makes it worth taking. the only downside is that she's not timely about grading/giving back papers
Definately good and nice teacher but very hard assignments. :(
she's a great teacher. but she should be more organized and stop giiving so much essays! hehehe
English AP with Baugher defines Senior Year - she treats students with respect and gives them great freedom. By no means an easy teacher or class, she does do a pretty good job of preparing us. Take it from a graduate, her English AP really helps in colg.
I LOVE THIS WOMAN! she's the sweetest person and very smart!
she gives too much work for one nigh, considering you have other subjects
