She's a nice enough person but I would not recommend her as an English teacher. Her tests are multiple choice and the answers are often subjective and I have had to prove her wrong multiple times. She often scores my essays low without much reason and tells her class to write them because it will make us better writers. It's basically busy work
By far one of the most helpful teachers I've ever had. She pushes you to do your best and doesn't let you settle on sub par work.
I'll agree with the others.... she does break out laughing a lot.
Ahh, Cheryl Huffer. She never fails to bring a smile to your face! She is a tough grader and expects a lot from her students, but rewards their effort! She definitely prepared me for college life!
Very nice teacher with a good sense of humor. Sometimes would laugh uncontrollably.
Mrs. Huffer is not a bad teacher, but the assignments she gives are the worst. They aren't hard, just extremely vague. Her tests are also poorly made and are not thought well enough through.
Mrs. Huffer is a really cool teacher. Other people are right, she does seem to sort of favor the bad kids. All in a a great teacher, good job!
Mrs. Huffer is very friendly and truly cares about each and every one of her students. She has done an excellent job to prepare me for college English!!
The Huffmaster!!! She and Mr. Zullo made SITES the best class ever. She knows her stuff and leads awesome discussions preparing students for the tests.
Mrs. Huffer really teaches writing well, she prepares you for senior year and college well! Her projects are always fun and so is she!
Mrs. Huffer is very funny and nice. She seems to play favorites, but I don't think she does. Her tests and exams are straight forward from the notes. A+ Teacher
When I had her, she went storming out of the room saying she was quitting. Not a very good example to set for the students.
Works one on one with me and others to help us write better. She has a good sense of humor and laughs with us.
I think Mrs. Huffer is a good teacher and helps her students understand more clearly whatever we are doing!!!
Ms. Huffer plays favorites with her students. She favors the "bad" kids. When it comes to a good student, they get the shaft.
Not very challenging, but usually cool and friendly. Sometimes over-emotional. She doesn't really want to teach, but she tries and does a decent job, mostly.
