  • The Chhabra Paradox goes as such: Chhabra asks the class a question about something noone understands because she didn't explain it well. Someone tries to guess the answer, inevitably gets it wrong, and she yells at them for their stupidity. The next time she asks a question, noone wants to answer and get yelled at, so she yells at the whole class for not answering. Get used to reading the book.

  • TERRIBLE. I absolutely HATED Chemistry.
  • Chhabra from Thomas Jefferson High School For Science And Technology was rated 9 months, 1 day ago.
  • If you study, you'll be just fine. She sounds intimidating, but as long as you don't mess around in class you won't have a problem.

  • Absolutely terrible. Very impatient and definitely has her favorites. She WILL pick on you if you are not one of her favorites. Unless you're sooper dooper smart you won't have a problem (and if you studied a little bit of chem before).

she's funny =) but i definitely didn't learn chem very well. i got an a every quarter but i just crammed before the tests. she didn't actually teach me anything, which was unfortunate, because the course textbook is SO dumb.

Always read the book before tests, and take notes during lectures (information will come up on the test later). Use labs and worksheets for free points, which protects your grades from the ocassional test bomb. Don't get intimidated by her ocassional pokes at you during class. Try and understand the confusing topics by asking your friends... she seemed to get mad whenever I asked for clarification. Not an easy-A, but I'd say you learn a decent amount of Chem.

What the heck is she doing teaching at TJ? There is no order in her lectures. She goes through a chapter so fast & then gives us worksheets (busy work) to do on our own. I learned more Chem in her class just by reading the book. Her lectures and worksheets are so useless. She spends more time in front of the computer than teaching us (and she can't even teach us). Thanks to her, I do not have any confidence taking AP Chem this year.
