The Chhabra Paradox goes as such: Chhabra asks the class a question about something noone understands because she didn't explain it well. Someone tries to guess the answer, inevitably gets it wrong, and she yells at them for their stupidity. The next time she asks a question, noone wants to answer and get yelled at, so she yells at the whole class for not answering. Get used to reading the book.

If you study, you'll be just fine. She sounds intimidating, but as long as you don't mess around in class you won't have a problem.

Absolutely terrible. Very impatient and definitely has her favorites. She WILL pick on you if you are not one of her favorites. Unless you're sooper dooper smart you won't have a problem (and if you studied a little bit of chem before).

Disregard completely the negative things people have said! I LOVED having Mrs. Chhabra last year. She is one of the funniest teachers I've ever had, her "insults" and "yelling" are completely playful, her classroom is a fun environment. It's true that some ofthe tests are hard, but I got an A all four quarters. If you want to enjoy your year in chem, she's certainly better than Jones or Maturo.

Take my advice frosh. if you get her RUN!! i got an A in her class but only because i studied with my Book.... but honestly her lectures are pointless, i just read the material myself while she was talking in her indian accent... NO HELP AT ALL but if you're good at teaching yourself this class if for you.. def one of the harder chem teachers if not THE hardest. highest grade in class is usually around a 96. about 4-5 A's a class... RUNN KIDS RUN, also goes trhough 1 ch a week.. so dont get her

the teaching itself sucked, but the class was one of my favorites. as long as you're on her good side. try to be perfect the first month or so and you'll never have a problem. also don't take her insults seriously, if you laugh at them or even talk back she'll like you even more.

the big problem lies in what you naturally get and what you expect to learn! She does not prepare for AP chem very well at all. I personally think someone needs to look at the big picture
