McG McG McG. He is SO full of himself and he always has a "friend" who has had some medical issue. He assumes that EVERYONE in the class is going to be an E.R Doctor and talks abut himself so much that its overwhelming. During the nutrition unit, he had no element of sensitivity towards anyone who was above healthy weight and he basically romanticized eating disorders throughout the whole unit. I'd say something about his personality but his ego has consumed any element of character. 0/10 guy.

He's paranoid about his physio class cheating. Talked to admin that 20-30% are copying/cheating and even admin didn't take his side on it as his "evidence" was thin to say the least. He won't fix it by using turnitin or something reputable to stop his insanity. I haven't been accused ever of cheating yet but whole class is extremely nervous and scared now for no reason. Beware and try to avoid getting innocently tangled in his web. Do a works cited or something idk. You have been warned

McG gives waaay too much homework to all of his students!! I don't understand why so many people want to take his class because the workload is crazy and his class is so boring! Yes, he is a funny person but his course is very challenging. I have friends in advanced physics that have less work and tests than we do. The only good way to get your grade up is to do extra credit projects which all require 5+ hours. All in all I would say McG is a great teacher but his workload is crazy!!

I used to like Physics, then I took Mc Gaugh's class. This was the only regular class I took this year, and it happens to be my most difficult. He avoids math and replaces it with words. He assigns us 10-13 pages of notes from the textbook, even though he already lectures during class. His exams are long and boring, and I rarely get time to check my answers. He is funny and interesting though.

One of my favorite classes ever. He is kind of a weird guy but he is so passionate about physics which is so good. I had him freshman year and it was my favorite class to go to. Make sure to go in at lunch or afterschool for help. He doesnr mind when u ask questions but if you as the wrong question he gets kind of angry. But its better to ask a question (even if its the wrong one) and understand what the material is than failing his class. Not that hard of a class. Just KEEP ALL NOTES!!! +study!

He's so rude so don't question your grade and just hope for the best. He gives more work than AP Bio, and grades tend to hover around the mid- to low-B range. Also be mindful that you'll spend upwards of $200 on ridiculous projects that sometimes have nothing to do with physio. So much for a free education.

Mr. McGaugh is brutal when it comes to workload. There are a few students who genuinely enjoy the class, but it is universally agreed upon that he gives too much work. The worst part about it is that everyone forgets the material after we move to the next unit. He's also very rude at times and when you approach him about an issue he is standoffish. It baffles me why so many people want to take this class when it will absolutely ruin your year.

I'm a Junior at Scripps now and Mr. McGaugh was probably my favorite teacher freshman year. Yea we did like a new project every month and he makes fun of freshmen 24/7 but he was a chill and funny teacher. I had a B but good luck to the kids that have him this year :p ..

Most helpful teacher I have had! He makes Physics enjoyable and his tests and class difficulty is set at a range for all kids to succeed. Did I struggle? YES, however, by coming in at lunch or afterschool, Mr. McGaugh went way beyond what was asked.

The best teacher i've ever had. i had him for physics and made me enjoy science for the first time. his teaching methods are great and engaging, not just boring lectures and powerpoint presentations. he cares about students and is always there to help after school or at lunch. gives lots of extra credit assignments. his outlines take a lot of time and effort but really help with finals and tests, it's not busy work. only bad thing is he has lots of projects that can cost up to $100.

MR MCGAUGH WAS AN OK TEACHER I MUST ADMIT BUT HE WAS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT AND NOT LIKEABLE AT ALL AND HE WAS JUST PLAIN RUDE. UPCOMING STUDENTS OF REGULAR PHYSICS, BEWARE! HIS TESTS ARE HARD, OUTLINES ARE USELESS, PROJECTS ARE STUPID AND MADE ME WASTE OVER PROBABLY $250 ON THEM, AND HE WAS CONFUSING AT TIMES. I HONESTLY HATE HIM AS A TEACHER, MADE MY FRESHMAN YEAR SO MISERABLE. I DID PASS WITH AN A HOWEVER, BY WORKING MY *** OFF AND STUDYING EVERY SECOND I COULD. I WISH YOU GOOD LUCK! :D

Not a good teacher. I pay attention and understand the material but you don't get the grade you deserve. Outline after outline, project after project...not fair. Not to mention he's behind all the other physics teachers in the school. I have friends on adv physics who don't get as much work as I do. The amount of work he assigns greatly affects my grades and life outside of school. I don't have time for other subjects because he has piled on work and sometimes no free time on weekends. I didn't sign up to h

Yes, he thinks he's really cool & can get a bit annoying at times. But i learned so much in his physics class! His monthly projects are very costly and i spent probabaly over twohundred bucks on this class. Even though he says you can pass without spending alot, if you're aiming for an A then you gotta spend the extra moeny on the good stuff for projects.
