Ok these reviews make it seem as if his class is cake... it is not. But he's such a cool and passionate teacher so as long as you are ready to devote time to studying physics you'll be all good! Take it from me, a student who sucked at physics but still managed with an A/B average.
Mr. Perry is hands-down the best teacher at Atlantic. He's incredibly reasonable and fair and lets students make their own decisions. As a result, the atmosphere in the room is filled with students that want to learn; they determine how much they need to pay attention in order to get the grade they deserve. He answers questions thoroughly, and you can ask him questions any time you want. His powerpoints are good, he grades very quickly, and he uses personal, funny anecdotes with his lectures.
He's the coolest guy who teaches the hardest subject......WHY?!
He's probably the coolest teacehr that you can have a conversation with. He helps you when you needs help but doesn't baby you either. He expects you to study by himslef because his class is so extremely hard. you will pass the AP exam, but it is going to be tough. I don't think I passed but he is still the coolest guy next to Mr. Bergan and Mr. Morone Sr.
Great Physics Honors teacher, not a good AP Physics teacher if it isn't your strong subject. Most people give him good reviews because his AP classes consist of top of the line IB math students.
A great teacher! Review the material he gives you and you're good to go
Excellent teacher, smart, fun. His students have an oustanding pass rate on the AP exam (although it is partially because the class is a pretty select bunch right from the start and he weeds out the unworthy pretty quickly).
An excellent teacher although the material is pretty hard.
outstanding. I am offended his overall rating is not a 5.0
You learn physics, you enjoy the process, and when it's all said and done, everything in your life becomes one enormous physics problem. Perry's class is true academic greatness.
Probably the best physics teacher in the county. He's had an AP pass rate of over 95% over the last 5 years or so of teaching. Last year, he had a 100% pass rate, 33% getting 5's
GREAT TEACHER!! Goes a little fast sometimes but still awesome. Sorry Perry i think i might have failed the AP exam =/ but nonetheless ur still a great teacher whom i respect!
Probably best physics teach around sad bit is that he forgets students easily even those still in his class, is very good at what he does and can be mean at times in a funny way :)
Outstanding, very memorable teacher. His only weakness: he doesn't teach E&M enough and instead goes overboard with his strongsuit--mechanics.
