I think that Ms. Pfaffinger is a great teacher so I was actually pretty sad to see some of these other reviews. Her classes aren't the easiest so you will have to work hard (but that shouldn't come as a surprise. Especially if you are taking Anatomy). But that doesn't mean she is a bad teacher. I think she is unbelievably clear when she lectures and is very willing to help explain anything you have questions on- you just have to ask. Overall, she is very smart and I enjoyed her class.
Everything I learned was from the textbook.
She's actually a very nice person, you just have to accustom to her. She's very strict and a bit condescending but kinda quirky too. Just do what you're supposed to and don't slack off and ask stupid questions. I have her for anatomy. Yes she doesn't teach really, but the course is self taught practically. So you can't blame her fully.
Absolutely the worst teacher I have ever had. Every day is the same- she gives us some busy work and sits behind her desk for the whole period. Very rude when you ask her questions. Never stands in front of the class and actually TEACHES. We have had a sub who is more helpful and knowledgeable than our actual teacher, which says a lot. Switch out if you get her for anatomy.
i dont know about everyone else but pfaffy is awesome, i have no problem with her, shes nice and for the most part knows her stuff, anatomy is def my favorite class
contridicts herself in class and while teaching. everything i learned from her class I learned on my own.
Your a great swim coach if that makes you happy. I dont care what the others say, your probably a great teacher. :)
