I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and say she really does know what she's talking about and thoroughly enjoys chemistry. However, she isn't very clear on anything and tends to stray on topics more times than not. She also can be fairly disrespectful and blames her students for her shortcomings as a teacher. If you're taking harder classes (AP euro, honors, etc.), I seriously recommend switching out of her class if you have the option.
the kind of teacher that tells the students that they just didn't try hard enough when everyone failed a test, and gets mad when you ask a question but then gets mad when you don't ask questions
She knows what shes talking about for the most part but shes horrbile at explaining things. All i can say is if you see her on your schedule switch out asap because it's extremely hard to get out of her class. I failed her class with a D then took a different teacher (Mr.Sayer) next semester and got an A in his class. She was by far the worst teacher I've ever had.
she knows her chemistry but has trouble communicating it. If you see her on your schedule it is near impossible to switch out as every student around you is trying to do the same. I crawled through the darkness with a 70.39%. "Are you wit me"
Ms.Hong really knows what she's talking about and you can tell she enjoys her job, but she can be strict. She also can be difficult to understand, and provides a ridiculous amount of remedial tasks. She dedicates her time to her students, but she really has trouble explaining chemistry in a way that is understandable.
Mrs. Hong is a great teacher who allows students to actually get in-depth into Chemistry. She may be confusing at times, and makes simple things a bit difficult, but she does it many times that it sticks in your head over and over. She also allows the class to understand subjects, and will not go onto other subjects until everybody understands. The only reason why I couldn't get an A is because I had been absent several times, and never had made up some of the work. It's an easy A if you want it
Umm....I think she mostly chose the job to fascinate herself. She loves chemistry to the point where she almost falls in love with her lessons while she's teaching them. She'll take it personal if you say you dont like chemistry. eh, teachingwise, she's ok pretty good
she always yells at you and makes you go stand outside she treats you like your 5 years old.
She might be a little hard to understand because of her accent, but otherwise she tells you what you need to know. If you ever need help she is there at lunch for questions. She really does care about her students. She is a pretty strict but its not like she is strict for no reason, she just enforces rules.
Mrs. Hong isn't so bad. She is a little hard to understand
mrs hong is a sweetheart if you try then u like her because she is a nice person!!!!
Mrs. Hong i love her but very hard to understand, and not clear but shes always ther if u need help i learned alot in her class cause i had to work do it myself
Her teaching is very poor because she teaches it really fast like 8 times. If she would just slow down and teach it slower less times I would actually learn
"How many people understand" (two people raise hand) "good you guys understand lets move on"
Hard to understand due to heavy accent, a nice person but can't teach at all....she may know her stuff but she cant communicate it so that u understand it!
i don't know what everyone's talking about. i think mrs. hong is a great teacher and i've definitely learned a lot from her. she knows what she's talking about
