  • ms. cohen's class wasn't really much preparation for the regents. she focused too much on class discussion and very little on challenging our writing abilities. the regents was completely about essays, and the only essays we got were the ocassional, take-home, easy-to-proofread-on-word essays. she's a nice lady... i'll give her that, but i just didn't feel like it was a good bridge to junior english.

  • Cohen was a good teacher except when I had her, we never had any test like for essays and because of that I ended up doing bad in English in Junior yr. She always gave us take home essays which didn't help much.
