Ms. Yim is pretty great! Pretty intimidating, but great nonetheless. First time taking her class, so i'm not picking favorites. She's good when it comes to guiding us through when we're struggling on a little bit of the work she gives us. She can sometimes be confusing when giving instructions, but it's nothing that a clarifying can't fix!
- not that helpful (she just gives us tips and examples of drawings or what to do…)
- she's really good-looking for her age lmao
- she always expects us to be perfect and goddamn artists
- she isn't strict at all
- she seems to not like her job as a teacher? or… she seems to be mad about something everyday. idk.
- her assignments are really fun! in general her class is very enjoyable and lovely
- almost no homework, just classwork
- WOULD LOVE TO HAVE HER AGAIN NEXT YEARRRR <333
she hardly teaches us anything and expects us to be perfect at everything we do
Ms. Yim favors students. If you can't draw or paint, switch out. She gives too much attitude.
Great great teacher. Very knowledgable and helpful in art. She knows how to run the class and it's awesome how productive the class is every single day. She can get a little intimidating at times though haha. Love Ms. Yim!
A very unfair teacher, changing my final score just to get my border line B grade to a C.
Almost no homework on a regular basis, mostly photo search and sketching. Mostly classwork. She's an okay teacher, and expects you to already know how to behave. Expects a peaceful, focused environment. Grades mostly on effort. Strict on timing, must meet a time limit on every project and don't clean/pack up until the prep bell rings.
I think you guys are being a bit harsh on Ms. Yim. I had her for Ceramics a few years back (I graduated in '07) and she was always nice. You just have to ask for help. A lot of what I made was not pe
Shes gorgeous as a teacher, basically you're busy the whole time in class. Don't bother to sleep or play around cuz she will make you work. But i like her class because you'll be busy most of the time
I had Miss Yim for Ceramics in 00' and I think it was her first year at Alhambra. She was really nice and passed me even though I didnt do Much. She was the prettiest teacher I've had! Check her ou
Very helpful, but sometimes our mistakes are just accidents.
shes nice... she gave me an A!!! hahaha... u just have to be her favorite...
i'm so mad that i have her!!! she expects way too much
she wants everything perfect!! its hard very hard class but if ur good u'll get an A or ask her for help on everything will get a B
ugh no matter how much i tried, i couldnt get better than a C. She wants everything perfect and there is no thing as perfect! She just makes me mad
A typical art teacher that actually grades on your ability, not effort
