His class will be hard and he knows it. He just makes you work harder to make you better and it works. He will help you if you seek help. However, he is a harsh grader.
He seems nice and funny in class but when you talk to him personally or he forces you to go to the center (does it to everyone at least once), he tends to be awkward and condescending. Doesn't have much sympathy for kids who miss school or his class for any reason.
a great english teacher and a great guy. although he may be a difficult grader when it comes to essays, he is always willing to give extra help to students. my writing has improved significantly after
A good teacher overall. Tries too hard with jokes (though he does hit more often than he misses). Doesn't take anything personally. A harsh grader of essays. Checks homework infrequently.
The Man. He challenges writers to express their personality through writing, not just slop on a load of cliches and expect a B-. Excellent taste in books and music, very funny. Inspiring.
I liked him in the end but he like other people said he was a pretty hard grader. He makes you work for your grades which is the point, I guess. Good teacher.
Kind of a contradictory guy. Very interesting guy and likes to talk about random stuff in relation to the material. His grading is pretty tough, especially on the essays. Little arrogant sometimes.
Couldn't decide at first if I liked him but as the year went on you get used to him and he was pretty cool.
Odd teacher. Very funny at times, but can be irritating at times. The good side shows up more often, so it's a pretty good experience. And tough essays too.
He makes the class interesting, i'll give him that, but he is not very approachable or friendly outside of class. He is a tough grader and seems to pick favorites.
Funny guy... makes the material less dry than it really is.
Living proof that you can be productive and downright silly at the same time. He can explain why everyone on earth hates you.
Interesting class, though it'd be cooler if we didn't have to meet with him about essays after they'd been graded.
