A very knowledgeable teacher. He gives good instructions and will help you with any question you have. Seriously he could be a college professor if he wanted.

Hey Mr. Ordonez, I am also Justine Conti. You are the worst I have had. I also know you don't grade papers. I read The DaVinci Code and it was a solid piece of literature. Especially compared to what you have done.

What can I say? Well done, Ordonez, well done. Hands-down the best high school course I've ever taken. I joined the class and was initially extremely intimidated by his intellect, not even the course, just Ordonez himself. Thus, I was determined to drop the class and transfer into a mediocre English IV course where I was guaranteed an easy A. Little did I suspect that he would actually put the effort into convincing me to stay in his class. Lesson learned: he really does care. AP LIT 2013.

AP Literature with Mr. Ordonez was an eye opening experience. This class changed my previously apathetic stance towards English into an attitude that is appreciative of the communicative arts. In previous classes, I would often acquiesce reading; but with Ordonez, he inspired me to look forward to every book we read. With Mr. Ordonez as the facilitator, he will smash open one's myopic world view and in the process, reveal new ways of processing information. Not to mention he is highly engagin

I'm in his AP Lit Class. Incredible teacher/mentor. Not going to lie, one of the hardest classes I've ever taken. But unarguably, still one of my all-time most favorite classes. Even some students that did badly have told me that it was still "worth taking". Most insightful, epiphany-inducing, intimidating class you can ever take. The man himself is very witty, sarcastic, yet still cares. He quite literally radiates intelligence, and you can't help but respect him. Recommend this class HIGHLY.

Cruz is the greatest teacher I have ever had the opportunity to learn from. He is da cooliest. He is over 50, as he says... but he has the wisdom of someone over the age of 1000.
