Easily the best teacher at IHS, no contest. It has been nearly 20 years since I had him for junior and AP senior english and his classes still stand out to me. After two bachelor's degrees his is still one of the best teachers I've ever had. Smart, funny, creative, insanely engaging, challenging, and fair. I was thrilled to see so many others feel the same way, he deserves such high praise.

If I had to be stuck on an island with someone, it would be him. He is the most intellectual teacher I've ever had both in high school and college. His thought provoking lectures still sit in my head to this day and it's been 4 years since I took his class. Best teacher at Inglemoor, no contest.

By far the most difficult teacher I have ever had (I'm a 4.0 student and just scraped by with an A), but the grade is not what matters in his class; it's what you take away from his class. If you listen to him you will learn so much and grow as a person tremendously. I had him for Junior IB English, and he has been my favorite teacher out of any teacher I have had. A piece of advice is to engage in his class and speak-up, you will do better and learn more that way. He is a hilarious teacher too!

This man had the biggest impact on my education at Inglemoor. One of the best teacher the school has to offer hands down. I will never forget him as well as his horrible, illegible handwriting...

Passionate about life. His class is fun and it'll change your life without being too hard at the same time. It's more of an experience than anything. Go to Ireland with him if you can.

We learned how special he was at the Open House. He is creative and engaging in his teaching methods -- what you need with high schoolers. My son enjoyed him immensely.

Mr. Curtis never fails to pull our attention away from the stereotypical high school curriculum with art, film and literature, rarely found in secondary schools. A brilliant man.
