I learned quite a bit in his history class in '00-'01. He took what he taught seriously, and participated in Civil War re-enactments, etc., even bringing in trinkets from them sometimes.
Fullerton is pretty much the only teacher that I've ever taken notes with, and had it feel like I'm not taking notes. He makes history so clear and fun (sometimes). His tests aren't bad and I'm really sad that he won't be back next year.
Dan Fullerton=God. He is amazing at teaching. In his class, somehow I am able to answer questions that I never would have in my other social studies classes at all! He really makes you think about what happened and the main thing WHY it happened. He never gives any "busy work" that I can remember, and everything he does he has a good reason for doing. Mr. Fullerton somehow makes History, a class that used to be REALLY boring, REALLY interesting! 10 thumbs WAY UP.
Hands down, best teacher I've had in my high school years. He's funny, sarcastic, interesting, and actually makes history fun. He makes you work, but if you pay attention, then it will be worthwhile. The work and the powerpoints might seem repetitive, but it really does help you learn. I learned to love history with Mr. Fullerton.
awesome teacher, has a lot of notes, but surprisingly not as much homework as most other teachers, tests are pretty hard but goes over everything w/ you; his fur trap was also pretty sweet
I would have given him a 5 in clarity...but the way he grades his quizes, tests, and homework etc wasn't very clear to me. he would count off for points and mark things like how? and why? when the question didn't call for those types of answers.
he knows his stuff. But he is strict, in-class, and with grading. test are very hard. i liked playing with his fur trap
He is BY FAR the best teacher I have ever had. Knows soo much about history. Every day in his class is like story time because of all the cool details he goes into. I wish more teachers were like him.
Wow, Mr. (is it doctor now?)Fullerton is amazing. I can't believe how much information he knows. I hope I met more people like him as I grow up. I've learned so much so far.
It's funny because the teachers make fun of him for being so involved in history and just surrounding his life with it.. yet I learned more from him than I have from any other history teacher I've ever had. (Including the ones making fun of him.) I have nothing but the upmost respect for the man.
He is so awesome. I was so lucky to get him for US Government
