Objectively speaking, he is very unreliable. Unable to ask for any type of clarification. Does not have clear set rules and very presumptious. Terrible grammar and spelling for an English teacher; not just mistakes. Does not care about official, or legitimate circumstances. Does not treat students with respect or any care. Out of line with many accusations, almost to the point of verbal abuse.
Probably my top 3 favorite teachers of all time, great personality, and very helpful. Some students just don't take the class seriously then blame his teaching skills on it. Overall my favorite class I've had at irvington.
everyone cheats in his class and finds the answers to his tests online. easy A
I had Daniel Quincy Sipsy my freshman year of highschool for english in 2008. After graudating highschool and graduating college, Sipsy still has the award for worst teacher I've ever experienced. He bases grades off of his mood and A's are 93+%. The most vivid memory I had of him was when he told our class he is teaching for the money solely.
All the kids who left reviews are probably the bad kids mad they didn't pass his class lol. He was so chill with my class, there were like 5 kids he didn't like because they were always talking and never did their work so he would just send them to the RC. I passed his class with an 89% and ever since then he taught me how to work hard, now it doesn't matter what strict English teacher i get i pass with an A. He stays after school to help you pass his class. He made the Odyssey fun to read!
Possibly the funniest teacher in the world because he is so stupid. I found all his test online but didn't even have too because he makes a partner correct your test. Just don't talk in his class. He's essay take about 10 minutes to do and he pretty much is mad everyday.
You basically just walk into the class and hope he's in a good mood. If he's not then you're pretty much screwed. Don't ask questions. Don't as for clarification. And definitely do not talk in any way shape or form, even if it's education based. He often suppresses questions and also likes to use double negatives while speaking. He also does not actually teach in the anything but instead shows you a few slides and expects for you to know what to do.
$hit. just $hit.
He is a very bad teacher, he acts like everyone is a slave to him, also he wasn't here for a month and a half because HE CHOCKED A KID!!!! Try letting your kid in the future be in his class. I would never recommend him to be a teacher at any school
He is different from our substitute afzal
F.u.c.k.i.n dumbass! Who doesn't know s.h.i.t and acts like he's smart.
Sipsy wasn't too bad of a teacher. He didn't help too much which made the class kind of hard. Everything he said he bsically slurred. He also gave me a redo on my QUEST testimony. So, he's kinda bad.
Alway helpful. Will stay after school to help. He is funny.
He can't read well and misprounounces words. He doesn't know how to use the word "due" instead of "do". He's in love with commas and excessively uses them incorrectly. He also doesn't know how to use
he was OK he gets mad very easy and his jokes are weird and has moody days
He's sort of...partially...mental. But overall, he's pretty cool.
can be mean sometimes. but overall, easy class, easy to understand.
Not nice at all and has very bad moods a lot and takes it out on us.
sipsy is a gee...very funny..but sometimes a harsh grader. STILL LOVE YA
Had him for advisory. Very funny ,nice , no complants
WHY IS THIS MAN A TEACHER?! He is pointless, snotty, and just plain mean. Why is he an english teacher if he cant spell? Funny man, bad teacher.
Gotta say, treats us seniors well. No complaints whatsoever here. We love Mr. Sipsy. Always interesting to talk to.
Mr Sipsy is my advisory teacher. Cool guy. He has done things for us like bought us doughnuts, shares candy, tells halarious storys, and lets us do our homework during advisory. Also allows us to talk (when hes in a good mood) And Steve told me to put he
