Shelbourn is a cool guy. Tou can't expect much more from a public school principle.
Mr. Shelburne is a really nice guy. But he is clueless and has no idea how to manage a school. All he does is threathen students with a suspension.
He doesn't manage the problems of students (many cases) but rather tries to improve the school's reputation and restoration (many cases too). He cares nothing of the students
Finding Mr. Shelburne at La Jolla High School is like searching for Waldo. The man is rarely in his office, and if he is, is in a "meeting". No communication.
i have never seen this principle in my life, definitely needs more student communication
OK admin . . . lots of sports focus . . . needs to have more academic focus, but over all a nice guy i would say
I think Shelburne is a good admin. Probably the best than any other school. I give him a thumbs up. But he was pretty mean to me one time.
doesnt do much. he is very enthusiastic about raising money for sports, but not for academics.
He's a nice guy! Very personable, cares about students! Great guy, easy to get along with.
Very disappointing as an administrator, but then, where are the good administrators in this district?
He is a very bad teacher. He does not listen to students or their affairs. He simply brushes them off. He should call the parents back when they call him.
I thought he was a good admin. He is personable and is concerned with the school. He knew my name when I graduated. (99-03)
Like most administrators in City Schools, he's just smiles and attitude. Not much substance here.
I went to LJHS for 4 years and I met shelby on numerous occasions. 15 minutes b4 the graduation ceremony he asked me what my name was.
