Mrs. Grilliot cares about her students above all. She does her best to help you out, but expects you to pull your own weight as well. Much more willing to help people who put in effort. Not the easiest teacher, but one of the most effective I've ever had. She and her class helped me decide what to do in college and for a career. She does not teach for the test; she genuinely wants you to learn the material. If you decide to put in effort, you will like her and get something out of the class.

she is so nice and understanding, but she can be tough. she doesn't give that many grades, which can be good or bad, depending on the person. you also have to listen because anything is subject to be on her tests. but she is great and i like cultural studies more than i thought i would.

Great class. I've learned so much about our government from her. Its always exciting to come to class and wonder whether we will be in an enticing debate or running a government. As grades are concerned she is as fair as possible. If you want to get a good grade you have limitless e.c. options. Shes great!

She is really willing to talk and work things out if you don't understand and she is very sensitive to each individual's needs. (she isn't the easiest, but easiness is overrated so 5!)

I took an AP history class, and her class, and lets just say the AP class was easier.
