Mr Evans is an awesome math teacher, hard to expect much more. Yes, he has dry lectures I would agree but I mean it's math, math is chill and boring there is not much to be excited about. Do not be afraid to ask even if it seems he doesn't want to answer it I swear he will answer every question you ever ask and it'll be to the point you're saying OK 5 times because he'll make you understand it then keep explaining after even. I abused him after school, we literally did my hw everyday he is GOAT
Really lenient and helpful but not that great at explaining things when he's actually teaching
Very good teacher who is clearly passionate about math, and therefore is great at teaching it. He isn't strict in any intrusive way, and is all-around pretty lenient. Sometimes he goes on a bit too long when answering a question, but I suppose this isn't a downside since he is only trying to ensure that the question is fully answered.
Great teacher that really wants his students to learn. He will help you understand if you are willing to put forth the effort.
Probably one of the best teachers I had in my high school career. If we understood the material he had no problem letting us start the homework in class. If not, he would keep doing more problems and explaining in more ways exactly how to do it.
I can't even begin to explain how much I hate Mr. Evans class. He goes super fast, and you can never hear a word he says because he either talks to quiet or is facing the wall. Our class is really loud and rowdy and he hardly ever tells them to be quiet. The only good thing about his class is the fact that he gives partner quizzes and basically gives you the answers for the finals during review. Counting down the hours till I'm out of his class! Rude and annoying!
His class can be difficult and hard at parts, overall though he's a great teacher, and is always there to help his students.
Probably one of the worst teachers I have ever had. He has 0 people skills, which makes it impossible to learn anything from him. Goes so fast and gets angry when you ask questions. Is so nit-picking, marks you off for the silliest things, which makes it impossible to get a good grade. If you don't want to teach the whole class to yourself, you are better off finding a different teacher.
I had a great time in his class Senior year. He taught well and was helpful when you asked. When not teaching, he was very entertaining and helped students in the class become a whole unit. He's helpe
I really enjoyed Mr. Evan's math class. He's very serious about his teaching and wants to help students understand math. He answers questions and helps out whenever possible.
Many people say they don't understand anything he says, but they don't ask questions. ASK and you shall RECIEVE. Overall a pretty funny guy, once he gets to know the class.
Awesome teacher. one of the most charasmatic in a very special way. he teaches, when you ask questions. So if you don't understand you must ask, or go in for help, and he WILL help you.
Funny guy. Makes math simple and helps when you need it. Sometimes goes through things quickly, but will explain if you don't understand. Doesn't update grades very often, though.
It was fine for a math class. I liked it better than my other math classes.
He goes through everything really fast, making it hard to follow. If you are confused and ask him a question, he groans in frustration. So, pay attention and hope you understand it. Tests are easy!
Not that it's really a teacher's responsibility, but he dosen't motivate you at all to learn math. I guess you have to be really self-motivated to succeed in his class because he's just so boring.
He's an okay teacher, but really quiet and doesn't control the class very well.
Ha! Ha! Whatever! You probably hate math and are lazy. Mr. Evans is the best math teacher ever. He makes you actually learn stuff to get an A and he always helps if you come in after school and ask.
worst math teacher i've had, talks in monotone everyday and is rarely willing to help
Yeah, I was in two of his classes. One of the classes asked a lot of questions, the other didn't ask hardly any. The class that asked questions was fun and I learned a lot. The other one was hard.
Mr. Evans uses student's questions about math problems to teach a lot. So ask questions!
ok teacher, isnt there in the mornings before tests. Way to monotoned to stay awake in class
He's alright, the best math teacher I've had for awhile.
Mr. Evans is quirky, but cool. He's amusing and he cares a lot.
He is cool, helps a lot when you need it, if you need help just ask, he is always at school.
His class is interesting,, I hate math but I like him as a person... Hes really helpful and wants you to succeed
I though that his class was hard, and the tests are really challenging
really good. he wants to see you succed. Thanks mr e for helping me pass my spring final. you don't know how much your time ment to me. : )
I think he rode his bike to school sometime. he's cool, but no hats.
nice guy, and hes veyr helpful. doesnt show a lot of emotion but thats ok
Hard class, but taught well. He helped me a lot after school.
ehh for the first semester he was alright, didnt help much, but the second he was even worse, needs to spend for time helping then walking around in circles
i did learn a lot from mr. evans, but i didnt like how he taught it..he got a little too excited over a counting video we watched at the end of the year too
i had him for summer school once, he wouldn't leave me alone till i got the assignment right, is that good or bad? i guess good but it was annoying
Mr. Evans is a great guy, always cheerful, and always nice to everyone.
goofy, but knows what hes talking about, just ask questions that you need help with and you'll be okay
