I think I had the wort learning experience with him. He knows what he's talking about, but his way of teaching is very confusing. Picks favorites, has a bad temper.
Now a sophomore in college, had corcos when he taught in the HGM. In all honesty he was a really good teacher, I've been texting this girl who believes I speak fluent spanish thanks to his class, also had a lot of fun.
Also, Bonito, eh? Yo se que muchos de ustedes no creen que los suenos se realicen. Verdad? Yo tampoco creia....
Had him for Spanish 1. Didn't learn anything except practically the whole script to "pinocho". The class was out of control every day and he got angry very easily and attempted to maintain the class r
Pretty good teacher. Good at his job Just that he get angry tooo quick
Decent teacher with a passion for whatever language he teaches. And when you make an effort in his class, he rewards it, even if you get things wrong. Overall, a good teacher.
Great teacher, even if he is a bit off his rocker. He knows if stuff if you care to listen.
Corcos is insane. French 3 was reading a page of the script of Pagnol's "La Gloire de mon Pere" every day. For a year. He tried to teach, but refused to use a textbook. 2 people learned; 15 didn't.
He is a very good teacher and knows his material so well. His teaching style may differ from a typical language teacher's, but they work and will make you successful. He is by far one of the best teachers I've ever had.
He's an awesome teacher and actually tries to teach you the language. VERY knowledgable and direct. I have him for freshman year, wish he wouldn't leave =(
i know like 8 different conjugations because of Corcos-and i'm in Sp. 1! DON'T LEAVE NHHS CORCOS!
Corcos is a fun man. Knows his stuff but is just hard to understand in the beginning. Great guy.
Honestly, his teaching style sucked, but you will still learn. I'm now taking a spanish class in uni a few years after I had Corcos's Spanish 1 class, and I still remember half the concepts he taught. In retrospect, not a bad teacher at all.
I had him for three years...Hated him throughout the years, but realized in time that he is a great teacher, however no one takes him seriously. i love the man
Corcos is a teacher who is dedicated to his students. he wants them to master the language they're trying to learn, and although the classroom environment may be disrupted often, you still learn a lot in his class. i've been in his class for four years now, and i think that time spent in his class was worthwhile.
Corcos knows his stuff, and if you're willing to do the work then you'll learn your stuff too. But most students don't do their work. And then they complain about not knowing Spanish or French.
I took French with him over a decade ago. Tough teacher with an off-the-wall sense of humor (you'll find him either hilarous or insane, depending) but you LEARN in his class.
He's a great teacher; his method sticks, especially the songs that we're forced to sing. He's a bit cuckoo, btui it makes his class fun.
If you are a musician you get an automatic A. Didnt turn in ANY projects the whole year and got an A. Failed every test and got an A. Dont remember anything.
He can be insane, but I think it comes from his frustration of most of his students not doing the work assigned to them; he's a good teacher and is hilarious.
Mr. Corcos is probably the greatest language teacher I've ever had in my life. Actually he's the only language teacher I've ever had but that's beside the point
corcos rocks my socks. everyone who complains about him is wrong. just wrong.
Mr. Corcos is on the smartest people I have ever met. He is a great teacher. I love you Corcos.
Mr. Corcos teaches us odd songs and has us do clay as opposed to actually learning Spanish. One can fail every test and still get a B. Maybe he used to be sane.
Although many people do not learn very much in Mr. Corcos' class, that is a result of their own laziness, not his method, which offers so much to those who care
he likes only the good students. his method is horrible. not a very cool guy to hang out with either. worst teacher at the school
his methods are incomplete; he focused on minutiea, meaning we didn't gain an understanding of french, rather the plus-que-parfait only.
I would rather have him than Madame. Everything I ever learned of French was in my first year from him only. I retained a lot & his methods worked for me.
The "corcos method" is wonderful, and the reason it doesn't work for some people is that they don't do what he says. Ne me quitte pas.
The only thing I learned in that class was preterite v. imperfect. We learned very little vocabulary which is hurting my current spanish grade.
He was hard, but he knew what he was teaching and I still remember the French songs we learned and the vocab they taught -- I was ready for AP French after 3 yrs
corcos is the worst teacher, and i didnt learn anything from him
I learned a lot of grammar and promptly forgot it, and no vocabulary. Spending months on the imperfect vs. the preterite is not helpful.
CORCOS WAS THE BEST TEACHER IN THE HGM BRULAIT LES ETAPTES PLZ
