Goldsmith is the man! He's funny, helpful, and an overall nice guy. He's got a great sense of humor and a pretty easy grader.
He sort of drones on for about an hour and a half every class. My advice would be to use this time to do personal enrichment activities, such as doodling, bombarding his email address with spam mail, and looking for new background photos. By the way, has anyone else noticed that he looks a lot like Steve Jobs? Right down to the turtleneck and jeans... Odd...
He kind of drones... on... and on... and on... and on... Easy class though.
His class is not that hard and he will help you if you ask. Just dont get caught behind!
If you listen carefully, all he ever says is "I have a beard" for real he does. "Now class, I have a beard." "The thing to remember when you writing a powerpoint is... I have a beard" "Excell really ins't that hard... as long as you have a beard." "Rookie mistake class, never shave your beard the night before a test." "I teach class like I teach the cross-country team. I teach it with a beard."
His class is too hard to catch up in if you've been absent since he talkes for a long time during the class and makes us do gratitous amounts of computer assingments that we already know how to do.
He should update the cirriculum in his class because students coming in to the class are already "Computer Literite" (I didn't say they Could spell) but he needs to take it to a new level and teach us about things that are new to us.
