Mr.Ponas is one of the teachers that would really push you to your limits. Although his complaints may be a bit off the chart sometimes, I really respect him. He shows how committed he is to his job and he encourages his students to try their best. He grades the students based on how they participate in his class and gives plenty of opportunities for them to bring up their grades. He has a lot of patience, teaches us a lot of things about how to improve our health, humorous and kind.

He was one of the best coach ever. We went to championship for Cross Country in 08-09. We ran alot and did alot of training at the lake and Joaquin Miller Park. And beat Skyline.

Ponas is a strict PE teacher, he takes PE very seriously. So if you get a bad grade, well, that's just your fault for not trying and being lazy.

Why don't so many people like him? PE you get to be outside sometimes. That's funner than sitting in the darkness. Only if you do trouble he will fail you. PE is a good time of the day. That is fair.

He is a pretty good coach. I guess if you want to get a good grade you have to earn it and give it 200%. I have been on his bad side for the past 3 years but now I can somewhat understand why.

Hard, definately not pointless, high clarity, hard for the average lazy people to get along with him, hates negative people who gives up, funny, serious, coach of OHS's awesome team, this guy knows a lot about muscles, health, and amino acids, and ordered ME to don't be a quitter. 04-05
