Mr. Spohn is a savage. He knows how to completely burn people. Spoon is the master of comebacks, as even the most disobedient student can be put down like a sick dog. Some people don't like him, but it is largely because those people don't do the homework.
Mr. Spohn is a superb teacher. You could tell that he really enjoys teaching statistics and has a real passion for his job. I had him for AP Statistics and loved my time in it. He has a spectacular sense of humor and is always chipper for class.
He's so nice and is such a great guy. He's very understanding and really connects with students
Mr. Spohn is one of those special teachers who understands his subject deeply and understands and cares about his students. I consider being in his class one of the truly special events of my high school career.
A rare type of teacher. It is obvious that he truly has a deep understanding of the course he teaches- in theory and in practice. Impressed.
Spohn treats his courses like a college professor does. He provides the subject matter, but it is your responsibility to learn it. Spohn makes you responsible for your education.
If you come to learn you will. If you don't pay attention to the lesson then ask a ton of questions before the test he will get fed up with you. He is a pretty cool guy too
David Spohn's philosophy on teaching: Hey guys, here's the homework Mr. Garrett made. I'm gonna go talk to him now. *later* You don't get it? Oh. *insert five minutes of good teaching* Okay, bye."
Spohn is the only math teacher that I learned anything from! I thought he was very easy to understand and he taught me a lot!
I have been in his class for 16 years. He is the best.
How is this guy able to keep his job? His teaching, if that's what you want to call it, is the worst!
