Mr. Zolin is very knowledgeable and can answer most questions, even in other courses. His goal is to prepare students for the rigors of college, so he makes students stretch, which may account for some of the negative ratings. He is also strict and expects good behavior, which may account for some negative ratings also. He is very helpful if you sincerely want help, and I know he has helped students who were not even in his classes.
he rlly doesn't care about us students and is always trying to find an escuse to send someone out! he sends people out for ANYTHING!! he wont listen when u raise ur hand either. he'll say he's already told u what u need 2 kno
he doesn't care about us. it's like he's just there to say he did his job and he doesn't care how it gets done. he gets irritated when students ask questions because they don't understand
I mean...no calculator? With coefficients that are in the 4-digit area? Are you kidding me? Le sigh.......
I am a graduate of Poly and had Mr. Zolin twice. While I liked Physics, he taught it like you should already know it or it didn't need explanation.
Man I hated that guy. Arrogant, pompous, all together ignorant.
Mr Zolin seems to be very rude but once you get into a one-to-one conversation with him is an all right guy. I will miss Mr. Zolin next year!!!!!!!! Lauren HIl
