when you see her on your schedule, switch out...trust me
a good teacher if you're a good student. if you're lazy, you probably won't take a liking toward her. flaws: harsh grader, can talk for hours, "guys".
Mrs. Gandt was a very good English teacher. She deserves very high ratings. I had her when I was in 10th grade.
Mrs. Gandt was great. She did like to talk a lot, but she was so nice.
very nice and sweet. gave me an incentive not to hand in work late or do poorly -- i'd have felt bad for letting down someone so nice.
likes to talk a lot..... but overall shes really sweet and pretty understanding. never scolded us for handing work in late, EVER. which was pretty cool, it took stress off.
i have her for english and key club shes very helpfull and sweet. but that "i" search paper, so far no other class had to do that. mine ended up being 13 pages. she did bring up my work ethic
She is a great teacher, although she doesn't like getting invovled with her students issues. She is the best teacher to get to prepare you for the regents, but can be very boring.
I really have a lot of respect for Gandt. She could've easily been horrible to me because I never handed ANY assignments in on time. But she was always kind and helpful; a very nice woman.
Certainly a sweet lady. Very enthusiatic had her work. She's one of the best English teachers I've ever had.
I learned a lot and while it wasn't fun, her traditional and predictable teaching methods definitely helped my writing. Sweet lady.
nice lady, but im not even kidding i always fall asleep i mean come on gadnt its ninth period give me a break!
she makes us go to sleep when we are reading a novel or a story from the textbook i sleep in her class like 90%
She is not a bad teacher, but she favors certain people and has a completely arbitrary paper-grading system.
Mrs. Gandt never says "I can't" when kids ask her for her time (She's also very kind).
she's truly a kind-hearted person and she preps her classes well for their exams
she has been one of the best teachers and people i have had the honor to meet at melville
VERY NICE LADY, but i think she should have stayed in junior high, or if she was really itching for a change, she would be great in elementary. too many tests.
