She gives you homework then grades you on how many you got wrong? I thought homework was to help you understand the material and get better, not get hit with a bad grade because you didn't understand

She's a new teacher, but I don't like the unorthodox use of "peer grading" for homework. It seems like children turn in papers with numbers on them and get a %100. Parents are blindsided by tests.
