Had her freshman yr in geometry HN and squeezed out a C+, have her again for jr yr precalc and she's more understanding and explains things more and tries to make sure everyone gets it
She is OCD!! And does not know the difference between teaching and talking, she only talks and makes no sense, I would have to reteach myself the lesson every night!!!
i...learned absolutely nothing from her class. why is she a teacher? she refuses to help you if you don't get it. it's a coloring class but it really shouldn't be
she's a ok perosn, but she's doesn't really teach things and plus she cursed at our class so it gave me the impression that he hated us
nice but not a good teacher. doesn't explain anything
I was in her precalc class. Barely learned anything but a nice person
the only way to really learn in this class is if you look it up in the textbook after school. confusing
Somewhat easy. Is really helpful when you don't know whats going on in precal or trig. Explains it very well.
As I look back I see that the homework did help me even though I didn't want to do it.. I used the information she posted on Blackboard. She was available during spartan time and after school.I always knew my grade thanks to the progress reports. She does care about her students. Don't cheat or be disrespectful she doesn't like that.
I agree that she does play favorites a little bit but that is only if you get on her bad side. Also. she signs a lot of homework but it helps you prepare for the quizzes and tests. Throughout the year i think she has improved in teaching and is willing to help us out of class.
Isn't professional, she on numerous accounts has brought up issues in her personal life, both in the class room and afterschool, to her students as if expecting sympathy in return. I've learned more teaching myself and getting help from my parents than I did in her classroom. She plays favorites BIG TIME, and isn't very forgiving if you so much as give a bad first impression. Be prepared to spend a lot of time on homework. Over spring break alone she assigned 14 pages of review material.
She is always there to help you. She provides notes and includes them on BB.
doesn't teach, plays favorites, is very condescending. hated this class.
Shes so nice if you listen to her. If shes talking, then you shouldnt be. Do your homework, its easy. And ask questions if you dont get it. Really.
She is an awesome teacher. She helped me through out the year. Thanks to what she taught me I was ready for my college class.
She tells you to save your questions but never gets back to you. You can eat and play cards in the back of her class and she'll never even notice. It's an easy class, though...
Best teacher I have ever had. She changed my whole view on the learning expieriance...and life. She deserves complete and total respect through and through. Shes an american hero.
Not mean, but not a very good teacher, she never really explains things, she just expects you to understand all the material in the book
She takes no responsibility for HER mistakes in grading, misentering grades, leaving classroom during tests 4 30mins+ etc. I turned in the same hw all yr.
2 much home work and 5th period she doesnt teach to much
she's cool b/c she leaves the room for like 30 mins so u can listen to music. i do my HW due THAT DAY every day at the beg. of class and she never notices!
Class boring but easy work, if your class is good sometimes she'll let you watch movies when she's tired
she might not be a good teacher, but her methods are helpful. How else do explain me getting a perfect score on the SOL in her class?
i have her now~ shez pretty cool~ shez nice~ i actually understand her and im actually doing good in that class~ if im doing well in a class i love that teacher
she gets to class late, leaves for like a 30min in the middle of class. she gets calls on her cell in the middle of class. she doesent notice anything.
She really seems to care how her students do in her class.
Very boring, plays favorites bigtime, if she doesn't like you the first time you meet her, you're doomed. Didn't really learn much, she didn't try too hard to actually teach the material.
