she may give decent instructions on the outset but once your into a project its hell, she moves with the best of the class leaving everyone else to flounder and struggle to keep up. she has a very narrow taste and it is hard to get a decent grade without either being very artistically gifted or catering to her exact taste. when you ask for help instead of reexplaining the technique or demonstrating a new artistic trick that could help you she draws on your WIP making you do more work.
Her projects were very uncreative for the most part. She is very clear about directions and explanations, but her voice is lifeless, and doesn't really energize people. To be honest, I don't think she grades on favorites, because she generally disliked me, but I still received A's on my projects. She is never disrespectful or rude to students, and does her best with the artistically challenged (of which there are many). However, she made me lose interest in art because of her lack of passion.
She definitely picks favorites, and grades based on that. She gives you an A if she likes you, but not so much if she doesnt. Her grading is completely personal, there is no scale or guideline.
honestly, she can be helpful. but she isn't the best at teaching. if she likes your art, she will always give you A's even if you mess up. if she doesnt have the same taste as you, she gives youBorC
Not the best at teaching artistic techniques. Art is subjective, and she grades it on a scale of how much she likes it. There's really no room for creativity if you're not very good at art.
nice person, kind of bad at teaching concepts. also, sometimes she will try to help by adding to your art and it can ruin it...but she always means well and shes the sweetest person
