I graduated over a decade ago, but still have great memories of Mr. Harrington. I took four out of the five classes he taught because I loved learning from him so much. He inspired me and pushed me to be the best writer I could be. Today, I have a career in writing, and I credit him with helping me realize my potential.
He seems a little arrogant and is a hard grader. Pushes students a lot...sometimes too much. I think he's a decent guy. Got an A in his class but I don't think I was anywhere near a favorite and you can tell who is. It's not overly obvious but he's very impressed or disappointed by students. Comes off a little too strong emotionally sometimes in my opinion. I do think he's worth having but he won't be okay with any slacking. He will get angry, which is what I hate is angry teachers.
Had him for 10x this year. One of my favorite English classes EVER, and I learned more than I have any other year. He makes you write a lot, but it's the kind of writing that makes you think. Sometimes the essays can be a little baffling and overwhelming, but they helped me grow immensely as a writer. He gives great, insightful feedback on your work, but still grades pretty easily. I don't think I've ever gotten below a 95 on one of his assignments. I'm in 9th now, hope I'll have him again
I had this guy 3 out of the 4 years of high school. He changed my life. Always willing to help, both personally and academically. Inspired me to be a teacher. One of the biggest influences of my life.
mr. harrington is my absolute FAVORITE teacher.!! Seriously the guy is an amazing teacher, and now that he's leaving I'm on the verge of crying. He will be greatly missed!
i had an awesome time in lit and pol. i wish i could have him next year in pulblic speeking
Good guy but he focused too much on participation and talking in class...you can be shy and understand the work too!
Intellegent, helpful, kind, funny... what more could you want in a teacher?
I absolutely loathed english. I just finished a year and a half in his class, and now love english. He is an excellent teacher, mentor, and friend. He is the reason I now want to be an english teacher
Insightful, helpful, and fair. My favorite teacher from BHBL.
He is arguablely the best teacher in the school because he is easy going, grades fairly, helps you out A LOT, and he is a great guy.
He's the coolest of the school hands down. During my early release days, he'd let me hang in his public speaking class, and he taught us about GOOD ELEPHANTS GONE BAD.
4ACE Public Speaking was the best class I have ever taken especially when I was talking
The best teacher I ever had, 3ace Public Speaking was the best class ever, i got to show off my UPS packing skills and learned alot about speaking infront of others.
He is absolutely awesome. His stories are hilarious, his lectures are intersting, and he is probably the absolute best teacher this school has right now. I learn so much in his classes.
Mr. Harrington is such a great teacher! He is very nice and is also my favorite teacher! He Rocks!
A very good teacher. Had him twice, enjoyed both classes and learned a whole lot. His Achilles heel is that he favors the girls.

Makes me work (did one essay 3 times), but is making me a better writer
The best teacher I have ever had and probably ever will have.
Mr. Harrington is a great teacher! I learned a lot with him in Forms of Lit, and I wish I had gotten him for Writer's Workshop as well.
