He's a good guy. I had precal and passed the class. His class is kind of easy, but I don't think he's a really good teacher. He tends to teach the easiest of the problems and will sometimes make fun of you if you ask a question. My suggestion, pay attention- all the time.
(Alg.2) His grading policy was easy, but the class wasn't. His lectures were too summarized. If you're entering the class with a poor math background, I think you'll find this class to be a lot more difficult. Since he has been teaching for very many years, his lectures can be very short and a lot of steps aren't always shown or explained. Be prepared to study extra hard, and get as much extra help as possible. The only reason I passed with an A all year was because I had a tutor. Great person though! (=
I actually liked his class. He was very easygoing, especially for a math teacher. His class may be boring, but stay awake during his lessons! That's one way you'll get a good grade in his class.
Awesome class. I love how he can ably things to life and it's cool how he gives advice about life and how he does things. I find now favoritism or disrespectfulness. All I see is a fair teacher how gets the pint across and who knows what he's doing.
i had 100s both semesters, easiest math class i have ever taken. Calculus is nothing like it, so be prepared
he's very annoying and you won't learn anything in his class. you'll probably get an a and have fun though, so that's pretty sweet.
He's a worst teacher ever. If you have him for Pre-calculus, you wouldn't want to go to calculus, because you get nothing out of his class. It seems like a very easy class, but if you don't really pay attention to him, you will an F for sure. And in his class, he loves to talk about his stockings, and life.
He is a good teacher, but if you are not smart then you are screwed
The class is a so-called "easy" class, but if you want to get a good grade and really understand the subject, you need to pay attention!
he was very disrespectful and thought he was funny even though he wasnt. good class if you dont plan on going further in math because his class wont prepare you for calculus. his ego is bigger then i've ever seen and he plays favorites like you wouldnt believe
Easy cheesy class--just do the work, then no need to study. Good if you don't intend to keep on going in Math, but should take a course in a community college if plan to go to Calc
Awesome, he helps us students if we ask him to go over any problem or question we have. He's the best math teacher I have ever had. Thanks Mr. McKenna!
mckenna's cool very easy funny connects with most of his students, good at helping us out with problems
McKenna is so cool! hes the first good math teacher ive had in a long time. seeing as im coming from mrs Pagilagan last year! AHH!
DUDE!!! You are the coolest teacher ever man!!! this is CATERINA, man you got to teach calculus next year, PLEASE!!! You are so clear and helpful, (no homework)
He can't teach, he expect the student to know what he's teaching, when he is explaining a problem he skip through the problem and then get into the answer
McKenna is an awesome teacher hes good at reading students faces and knowing when they need help and the class is easy! teach calculus next year please!!!!!!
mr.mckenna is the best math taecher i've ever had. and it helps that his class is really easy.
Mr. McKenna taught me algebra and geometry way back in '82-'84. Cool teacher, swim coach, and all-around funny guy (at least back then).
