She's nice to most of our class (Normal US History), but as for teaching she sucks. She taught us women's rights for 2 months straight and then she kind of just skipped through the World Wars in 2 weeks and everything after the Vietnam War to try and make up for wasted time. Most of the homework is easy and I do have to give her credit for having a website she updates regularly, but she grades essays HELLA HARD and her reasons for taking off points aren't always clear.

I had Joan DeVries for AP US History this year. She read ahead of us two chapters. Has no knowledge of how fo teacha n AP class. She doesn't know how to pronounce many words correctly. She only talks a out womens' rights. She is a total blind left wing sexist who loves women. I can not stand taking her class. I am not cery prepared for the AP test. I had to teach my self EVERYTHING. She is a baf teacher with a bad attitude, bad communication, little knowledge of the subject.

I agree, psychology is an elective and that means more laid back and an easy A. Having essays and tests and homework all the time is not how it should be. She is a nice person though.
