I was excited when I learned that I would have Mr. Parr after so many great things I'd heard about him. However, I was disappointed to find out how unhelpful his methods were. He gave us all the answers to the test right before we took it! In addition, he is extremely arrogant and cheeky. He often would call me out by name and try to instigate an argument, or hurl an insult. I am not a bad student. I have never had behavior problems. Mr. Parr had a preteen-like infatuation with insulting others
Parr, Westside lost not only a great teacher, but also a great man. You were, by far, the best history teacher I've ever had.. plus you had some awesome taste in music.. you can never go wrong with the Greatful Dead...well for the most part lol. Much love to you Mr. Parr!
One of the few amazing teachers at Westside. He really cares about his students.
Mr. Parr's a pretty nice guy and you will learn a lot if you take AP history even though it is a lot harder then regular history.
Mr. Parr is a great man indeed. Simply put, it's a travesty not to have his class.
Not only an awesome teacher, but an awesome individual. His AP class is worth the experience and knowledge he shares alone.
Mr. Parr is a very good teacher. His regular U.S. History class is relatively easy, however if you want a challenge take AP U.S. History.
Take Mr. Parr for History. He knows his stuff, so you have to be on your toes. But, he is very nice and cares about us.
