I had her in both Creative Writing and Poetic Experience and she is so nice if you're respectful towards her. She's one of my favorite teachers from the whole school. Also, to get an A in citizenship you have to actively participate. She'll encourage you with a smile. :) --No textbook required for those classes
She cares, but she gets so emotional. And she's on her phone and then writes Saturday schools for us. That is hypocrisy in my book. Wish she would just focus on avid and college, and stay away from all the other stories about her kids and stuff.
She's an amazing woman. I've never met a single person who could make such a huge impact on life in only 4 years. Her dedication to her students and the program never receives any type of recognition, even from her own co-workers. She's a fantastic role model and an even better 2nd mom.
i learned the most in her class, but she's very tough. gotta do your work (and there's a lot). She's a cool person though and really preps you for college
Very Hard class. Do all of your hw on time or you will fail. nuff said
Very smart person, despite being an ex-49er Cheerleeder but needs to find a better approach to teaching students the things they need to know for college.
Learn a lot if you pay attention, but don't ask for a lot of help unless you're one of her AVID students, or a popular cheerleader.
Easy to get along with if you don't break the rules. However, she is hypocritical and tends to favor cheerleaders and populars. -Class of 2003
Really nice but holds high standards. Felt like an honors class, but you learn alot. Oh yeah dont cheat/plagerize and do good on the vocab tests. I had a A.
I graduate in 2000 and she was by far my favorite teacher ever. For those willing to learn, she has a lot to offer. DGC
lotta seniors didnt like her cause of the work she gave us but since her class i been averaging a 3.5 GPA stead of a 2.5
