- worst class of my life, honestly. i dont even know why shes there. i think she teaches like one period or something what a waste of a teacher. it was almost like an introductory psych class or something, but definitely not an english honors class. barely escaped with an A both semesters

- Ms. Brown does not represent TPHS. She is not available to students or parents. TPHS has made a huge mistake to have her teach an Honors class at such a fine school. The department needs an overhaul. Why are students trying to drop the class? What happens to these students after they take her class? Do they succeed in 11 and 12th grade English? She is busy with her graduate degree and not available to work. Wake up TPHS.

- I hate Dianne Brown so much that sometimes it actually causes me to have pain in my chest. She is and by far will always remain the worst teacher at TP. She is completely incompetent. I suffered the whole year and now all that remains is my burning hatred for English now. I think that she should not teach honors. And she is also ****, making us participate in activities like "would you feel uncomfortable in a room full of mexican-americans?". I hope that she gets what she deserves!

If you get this teacher, get out. i dont care if u have to cry, beg or plead, u need to get out if u have the slightest care about your skill in English. Even if your parents are not ok with dropping an honors class for a normal, this class is easier than sheltered English and your chances of getting an A are very slim. All she does is assign BS homework on the spot and we do not learn anything.I fell asleep every day in that class. EVERY SINGLE DAY.her monotone voice does not help pay attention(permalink) (report)

LOL that class brings a lot of bad memories, and ones that you laugh at a year later. Basicly, she and like 2 whites kids talked for about half the class, then we just talked about how the class really sucked for the rest half.(permalink) (report)

the things she says doesn't make sense, and when students say something really intelligent in response to the text, she pretends to understand it but then she repeats/rephrases it, it seems like she isn't very intellectual herself. she has a really quiet voice that's hard to listen to, and the class is boring (easy to sleep). and she's oblivious most of the time. i don't feel like i'm learning much with her.(permalink) (report)
