Ms. Dockus is a wonderful teacher. You either have a love or hate relationship with her, and to be on her good side all you have to do is show interest in the class. She likes people who speak up in discussions and she hates people who don't care. She is by far the best American Literature teacher because she will actually teach you something, and she doesn't give too much or too little work. She'll make you work for it, but if you take her class you will get better at writing.

She is probably the worst teacher I have ever had. Her "interesting" personality is strange, she clearly has favorites and expresses who they are all the time, and the way she acts/talks conveys as if she has experimented with different drugs, which I would not doubt if she has. Most importantly, she doesn't care about her students. Awful teacher.

Ms. Dockus makes you work,but you'll do well if you put in the effort and work hard. She's a great teacher and will improve your writing tenfold. I took her for a second yr on purpose. Great person.
