I love her class. She's always in a good and humorous mood, even when she's under the weather. She has a great relationship with students. She is very knowledgeable person on history, and you can have a very deep conversation with her on historical events.
History with her is definitely one of my favorite classes!
Exams and assignments tend to be a bit confusing, but she knows her stuff very well. She's a fun and great teacher, and very helpful if you approach her. Her class is pretty fun!
Diane, will you marry me?
I'm convinced that there is no teacher in the world that is better than her. She knows the subject well and is absolutely hilarious. I almost never like history but she's so good that I always want to go to her class. She was out for a few weeks recently and thank goodness we had a good substitute or I might have died. If you want to experience what it feels like to speak to a perfect person just talk to Diane Mannion. It may very well change your life.
I will marry her. She is perfect and the love of my life. I love her.
She does not understand what she is teaching, getting most of her information from the textbook, speculation, or random readings she claims to have come across "years ago". She is an engaging and memorable teacher, but she does not teach accurate information, so it's all for nothing.
What is there to say except..... W000000000t!!!!!!<3 <3 <3
Mannion ties Mr. Roche as one of the most popular teachers at High Tech. Her class is pretty easy, but she's not very helpful with review and her tests are rife with mistakes.
She goes off on tangents because she knows a lot, unlike Olsen who's trying to be cool.
Though she may be a little blonde at times, her brain is a wonderland of knowledge. She can spout incredible things about history. Loved her as a teacher and a person. Definitely one of my favorites.
easy class and shes a great teacher whos alot of fun!
very nice lady. she seems all over the place though and not organized.
Has difficulty controlling a class so learning can take place. Easily gets off on tangents. BUT also gets some students very interested and involved; very knowledgable.
One of the coolest HTHS teachers. yo ucan talk to her about anything if you so desire. She can be a trusted friend, too. Very down to earth AND FUNNY! I love this woman!
Mannion is an excellent person, but her teaching skils leave something to be desired - students are regularly unprepared for her assessments.
Mrs. Mannion is the greatest lady ever. Soph history owns.
YESS!....Mrs. Mannion is the best...the trickiest part of her class is the format of her tests; she's not a big beleiver in the "enter" button ;)
test question: "when was the war of 1812?" that says it all. i loved soph history (eventhough EVERYTHING was a spark for the civil war)
Mannion's classes are chaotic and hilarious. She's absent-minded but you'll love her anyway. Ask her about her kids. Mannion is fabulous. :)
lol, she's forgetful. She constantly forgets her keys. Her class is really easy. Just have her review right before you take a quiz. You'll ace it.
quizzes are too nit-pick-y, but class is fun. too many notecards for thesis papers, though.
shes nuts. she lets us do lots of fun stuff...and you can make fun of her. all around, the quizzes were always easy too
