What is a feminist doing at an all boys school? Good question, and I'm really not sure why she stays. The result is a laid back teacher who doesn't connect with students whatsoever, and just "does her job." The class isn't awful and she doesn't always try to throw her liberal illogicality on you (pardon my bias), but I can guarantee it wont be your favorite. In the middle on class difficulty.

I don't know where all of the bad reviews are coming from. I had her Junior year for English, and she was a pretty good teacher. As long as you do her assignments and don't act like a moron, you'll enjoy the class. She's also really friendly outside of the classroom.

She was possibly the worst teacher I have ever had and almost the most obnoxious - she is a big feminist to the point where you are not allowed to call her Mrs. Mulligan even though she is married and she looks like a flamboyant chubby teenaged boy.

The only time she ever smiles is when she has a smartass comeback for us.

Grades so easy so as not to improve students' writing; somewhat lazy; questionable class structure; still extremely knowledgeable though

she is pretty much one of the worst teachers ive ever had, threw me out of class several times on "retarted" charges, female teachers just should not teach at a all male school it just dosent work...

My class took advantage of Ms. Vanaskies kind nature and made it so she had to be the way she was. She was a freshman teacher and will do better next year

Anyone who says her class was hard is a moron that doesn't deserve the right to live. You'll probably end up working at BK the rest of your lives.
