Mrs. Dutarte is an excellent french class compared to the current french teacher. I wish that she would come back soon.
The WORST teacher I have ever had in my entire life. It just goes to show you that Texas does not care about its future and decides to fire new (mostly good) teachers instead of firing incompetent "te
If ANY1 says shes good ,,, then they've been brainwashed by her... she is absolutely the worst teacher and she cant teach crap... she made a girl cry in the second week of school.. she forgets everyth
Fix the repeats of previous ratings. Madame Dutarte cannot teach.
While she is very proficient in French, her attitude needs a bit of adjusting. Overall, if she fixes that, she'll be one of the better teachers in Westwood.
She forgets things and blames it on students. She has a warped sense of reality. She says "you can't expect to be perfect". But she gets mad at students for not knowing things that she hasn't taught.
Personally, I think Mme. Dutarte is not the best teacher. She scares her students and has no patience. If you dont know a word, she will get angry hence making students not ask her questions.
She is pretty much a great teacher. A little bit on the moody side perhaps. If she fixes that, I will LOVE French even more...if that is possible.
I personally like her. For the most part, if you show an interest in the class/lang, she'll like you. All in all, once you get past the initial intimidation, she'll cool.
It is really a matter of your first week with her. If she likes you you're golden if not....but really just do your hw and put some effort, it's not so bad though she is super moody.
its not always easy to learn when your teacher hurts you, embarresses you, yells at you. maybe that works for some of you, but i dont think that particular method of teaching is condusive to all.
she seems like she is trying to teach us, and she does a great job sometimes, but she also ACTIVELY puts students down. learning is not about shaming students for not being fluent in a foreign langua
She's not bad! Get on her good side by getting good grades & speaking to her in French. I've had her since Pre-AP 3, am now a junior in AP 4 & can't think of anything I'd rather major in than French!
The only problem i really have with her class is that she doesn't give grades based on your assignments. She gives grades based on how much she likes you.
She is not as bad as many people make her seem. She definentely has favorites, and much of your grade prolly depends on it, but hey she likes me :-p, its good that shes real frenc
Overall a good teacher, I learned a lot from her but her personality pretty much kills that, she's very moody and definitely has favorites, she's also good at making kids cry daily
She is a bit intimidating because her personality is versatile and prone to changing at seemingly random points. Has a favoritism towards certain students and teaching is adequate.
as long as you do your homework, you cruise through that class, but once you stop....aieeeeee
she came from France..of course she'll have an accent..u can't blame her for that. all u have to do is do ur hw and u'll be fine
WARNING!!! GET ON DUTARTS BAD SIDE=DESTRUCTION!!!!DESTRUCTION!!!!!
Uggh, where do I start? For one, her methods are totally out there, and you can't learn from them. If you mess up on something, she makes sure everybody knows.
shes a great teacher! so her teaching methods are a bit strange, give her a break shes very understanding and nice, u jus gotta study a lil but thts how u learn
Apparently if you're above French 2 you don't need to know anymore. her constant response when you ask for help,"You learned that in French 2." Come on, help me
AW, come on guys, she's a great person! Who wouldn't be tired teaching monsters like us day after day :) She's a good teacher, give her a break!
Dutarte is nice, but all I learned in 3 years of high school french is how to ask someone to go to the movies.
She's a little hypocritical for stressing French pronounciation.
she doesnt speak a real language..she combines french and english..
