Mrs. Dutarte is an excellent french class compared to the current french teacher. I wish that she would come back soon.

The WORST teacher I have ever had in my entire life. It just goes to show you that Texas does not care about its future and decides to fire new (mostly good) teachers instead of firing incompetent "te

While she is very proficient in French, her attitude needs a bit of adjusting. Overall, if she fixes that, she'll be one of the better teachers in Westwood.

She forgets things and blames it on students. She has a warped sense of reality. She says "you can't expect to be perfect". But she gets mad at students for not knowing things that she hasn't taught.

Personally, I think Mme. Dutarte is not the best teacher. She scares her students and has no patience. If you dont know a word, she will get angry hence making students not ask her questions.

She is pretty much a great teacher. A little bit on the moody side perhaps. If she fixes that, I will LOVE French even more...if that is possible.

I personally like her. For the most part, if you show an interest in the class/lang, she'll like you. All in all, once you get past the initial intimidation, she'll cool.

It is really a matter of your first week with her. If she likes you you're golden if not....but really just do your hw and put some effort, it's not so bad though she is super moody.

its not always easy to learn when your teacher hurts you, embarresses you, yells at you. maybe that works for some of you, but i dont think that particular method of teaching is condusive to all.

She's not bad! Get on her good side by getting good grades & speaking to her in French. I've had her since Pre-AP 3, am now a junior in AP 4 & can't think of anything I'd rather major in than French!

The only problem i really have with her class is that she doesn't give grades based on your assignments. She gives grades based on how much she likes you.

Overall a good teacher, I learned a lot from her but her personality pretty much kills that, she's very moody and definitely has favorites, she's also good at making kids cry daily

She is a bit intimidating because her personality is versatile and prone to changing at seemingly random points. Has a favoritism towards certain students and teaching is adequate.
