The is one of the best teachers ever. She is demanding, and pushy, and imposing, and there to help you with getting the best that life has to offer. I developed into a good artist, but she help me develop the lingo, to get me into many art venue and gallery circles. I regret being in only 2 of her classes. I now have a muti-million dollar business, because she provided me references in Art history, where I always walk the walk, but she allied me to talk the talk. Thank you, Ms Ellison.
Ms. Ellison is fake nice, you will do well in the class if you put enough effort in.
One thing i don't like about teachers is when they're too nice and you can't not like them. Ellison is very picky with grading. However, she was too nice and I couldn't not like her. Because of her, my art average was below 90.
I have her again this year, and I haven't changed my opinion on her - she continues to ignore me whenever I need her help, and continues giving me her "attitude" - very discouraging person who did not help me in any way at lal.
shes the corniest woman alive, i feel like shes straight out of 7th heaven, or worse. Her analogies and attempts at a joke make me sick. But although she's annoying as hell, she's nice and a nice grader.
ehhhhh.. idk shes ok but the way she talks and treats us i feel like im 3 in her class.. but i guess it makes sense because im only a freshman :|
I had her for both basic printmaking and sculpture. She was a very competent teacher in my opinion.
I changed my opinion of her this semester, I think she's actually a very good teacher and very insightful- her knowledge of sculpture is really amazing, and she's generally an understanding person.....I like her
she picks on me and i find it discouraging. Not a good teacher. A disapointment
She teaches pretty well...yet her voice sometimes makes me want to fall asleep. She's knowledgeable when it comes to art but it doesn't mean that she can make her classes exciting and lively all the time.
she was very nice but i didnt like her because she never told me how i could improve on my work AND she never helped me with ceramics at ALL...she didnt like me very much anyway
she copies all the art she does. we had to go see this exhibit and then they had the faculty print show nd it was exactly what she did was exactly what was in the museum. not originial. very sloppy with hand movements like throwing around chisels and mallets and stuff.
Ug. Can we please give the whole "I can relate printmaking to everything" a break?! Not every little thing in this world can be also seen in making prints. Give it a rest.
i really like mrs ellison, shes not incredibly critical like my other art teachers, and she really makes printmaking enjoyable. yea sure she goes off on tangents sometimes but i like her a lot
She really understands and loves printmaking. Ms. Ellison was so helpful to me. she has a small temper so make sure to follow ALL instructions.
Wow i learned so much in her class. She's a bit intimidating at times. Funny lady.
I really liked her class but we wasted so much time on simple instructions while she tried to connect things like paper to the world around us.
She had a habit of belittling students in front of the class without first ascertaining the student's particular situation.
Yeah, she tends to add-ness to every noun. But she's very nice and almost too happy sometimes..
Ms. Ellison is wonderful. I mean she's like the first teacher whom shared similar mind about our world and society like i do. She's cool?!
She's an excellent teacher and she teaches more than you're suppose to know. I also find her humor to be very hilarious.
Mrs. Ellis has a lot on her mind. She is also a dean. Working hard to help students who don't even try. She is another one to take her work seriously.
I had Ms. Ellis in high school at Music and Art- she was one of my favorite teachers. I loved music theory with her!
I think Ms. Ellison is very helpful--nevermind her jokes...she is quite a good teacher
the anistetic realism is long and boring and the president bush jokes are way too lame.
