Really nice/helpful. Arguably the best math analysis teacher you can pick imo. She REALLY prepares you - I got a B- in her class both semesters, but improved much in math and easily got an 800 SAT math score. PS Be Organized in her class!

I know some people that hated Geery, but also some like me that really liked Geery. It's true that she does go a bit fast in teaching, but I found the pace manageable. Her tests are pretty hard, but it's not impossible. Plus, she's super nice and jokes around a lot. She's definitely a teacher that you can befriend easily. I really liked the light learning atmosphere in class, how she actually teaches and she can mess around. Note: she is on the phone A LOT.

One of the nicest and funniest teachers on campus! She is really chill and you get a lot of homework time in this class. She gets to know her students very well but her tests are hard as heck. You need to study, this isn't one of the classes where you can just walk in and get an A.

She is very loving and caring for her students. She grades tests on the same day not like some other teachers. She postpones test when we have AP Euro tests on the same day. She likes for you to ask questions and explains well.

Great teacher, knows the subject very well and explains throughly. Tests are tough, no doubt, but nothing insane and nothing she didn't teach. Very nice personality and gets to know each student. Also, no homework on weekends and buys food for students very often! Not a drop of EC, though.

Mrs. Geery really isn't as bad as people say she is. She is a bit unorganized, but that doesn't make her a sucky teacher. Math Analysis is a really hard course no matter what teacher you get! I think that what most people hear about her comes from the fact that many students are lazy, combined with the fact that immature students seem to always put the blame on their teachers, combined with the fact that she occasionally spills coffee on a kid's test.

Great teacher, knows Math Analysis very well and explains subjects thoroughly. Will help if you ask and is very nice with the students. Always positive and happy. Her tests are tough though, no doubt, but nothing on there that she didn't teach.

I will not lie. Her tests are incredibly hard. I don't really know if the tests are the same as other math teachers, but I had her for Algebra 2 honors and I had never struggled in a math class that much. I had to get a tutor and I managed a C-. I worked, but I still believe I could have worked harder. She WILL help you if you ask, and show a willingness to learn. Don't complain, just try. You may not do well in the class, but you'll do awesome on CSTs.

Geery is not as bad as her reputation is! She's more than willing to help if you ask, and she's also a really good, sincere person. Although the class itself was hard, it was one of my funnest!

nice teacher... but in all honesty, the worst teacher you could ever have at walnut. I've always been good in math and have always gotten A's, never once have i gotten a B in math. 6 weeks into the school year, i was literally failing her class. I thought AP calculus was a breeze compared to her class. If you get her, good luck to you.

Mrs. Geery is an extremely fun and interesting teacher. She loves communicating with students, albeit her teaching skills may be somewhat lacking. Even so, if you ask her privately she usually helps.

It is in my opinion that Mrs. Geer is a good person. She is a fun person to talk to with an interesting life to listen to. It is to my dismay to say her teaching skills and clarity to be lacking.
