If you decide to take Japanese with Sensei, you won't regret it. Sure, she can be intimidating sometimes, but she's honestly one of the nicest teachers you'll ever have. She truly cares about her students, in both their school and personal lives. Make sure to do your work, though- Sensei doesn't take late work very well. With regards to Kanji, if you do the packets and study them, you'll be prepared for the mastery test and the weekly Kanji quizzes. Sensei's honest about what'll be on tests.
I had the pleasure of being Ms. Wagener's student fro 1998-2001. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be where I am today.
I had Sensei for 4 years in Japanese and she really teaches her students well! The homework in 3rd and 4th year is a lot but it really puts you on the road to being fluent. She has all kinds of ways for you to remember stroke order, kanji, you name it! However, I often times felt like I was in boot camp when I was in her class. Once in junior year she yelled at me in front of the class because I was confused about a due date and showed up empty handed when I needed a poster. Not her best moment.
Shes hard but a good teacher
Sensei is a great teacher. She really sits down and talks to you about what she teaches. I recommend her because she always finds new ways to help students like me remember things that are a little difficult. I'm going on three years now, and next year will be four. I haven't regret a single day of being in her teaching hands. Great teacher, Keep up the great work Sensei.
She's one of the best teachers I've ever had. She treats her students like her own children and always helps when they need it. She may be strict at times, but it's for your own good. Love Japanese!
Really awesome teacher! Shes down to earth and easy going but can be somewhat strict and lay down the hammer when needed.Overall, you will learn a lot and have fun doing it
best teachers hands down. goes way out of her way to see you feel involved and comfortable. i wish i could go back to high school just to have her as a teacher.
amazing, most caring teacher you're ever going to have. period.
She's an awesome teacher! Japanese is hard to learn but the way she teaches it makes it seem easy. Sensei may be a bit harsh at times though. Especially if you have 3 pop quizzes in a row. She makethe class enjoyable.
Even though japanese is hard, the class is great! sensei is the best teacher!
Sensei makes it very easy and fun to learn Japanese.
Sensei and the students in her class crack me up, I love singing songs and learning Japanese, even hough I'm pretty much failing. I learn at my own pase.
I agree, Japanese is hard and sensei do help us a lot. Plus she's fun to talk to.
sensei is the coolest, best teacher in the whole world!
