Mr. Wilfert was an amazing teacher and was a really relaxed guy when he wanted to be. sometimes he would go on a rant but as long as you were good it was never directed specifically at you. when he's calm, he'll teach you alot about life and he cares alot about all of his students. he was really easy going on practicing andd didnt really care if you were very good( but if you were he'd give you special attention and make sure you felt like you were getting the credit you deserve).

So I now have a lot of music experience outside school and I have learned more from there than I ever did from Wilfert. He's good at music theory but ensemble rehearsals and marching band sucked. :(

I love Mr Wilfert. But he does get really angry over nothing. Musical Genious. Great for talks about nothing. When he rants, just ask yourself 'does he wax his head' and dont smile. Best Band Ever

Mr. Wilfert is a very particular person and he knows exactly what he wants. I truly believe he is a great teacher, musician, and person.

Mr. Wilfert is obviously a very accomploished musician but it's on the emotional level that he needs a little work. Once you think that he likes you he'll turn around and hate you

he is the best musician i know. However, his mood interferes with his teaching too much, and honestly, it affects all of us. However, he can also be the nicest person ever. hmm...

He needs to control his temper...he gets annoyed over the smallest things, even over his own mistakes...but he is a good musician

Mr. Wilfert is a great musician. We've shared great conversations recently. Unfortunately, students are afraid to approach him with even simple questions.

Delta Doug paid attention to MY music and took the time to integrate it into his direction. Very dynamic band leader, great teacher.

Absolutely the best music teacher I ever had. His temper is a manifestation of his commitment to music. If you practice and show respect, you will do well.

Mr. Wilfert is one of the most talented musicans I've worked with--he really knows what he is talking about; on days when he's in a bad mood though, WATCH OUT!

He's a bit hard to read. Your best friend when he's in a good mood but watch out when he's not! All the same he is a brilliant band leader and musician.

He gets really moody, but if you keep on his good side you'll be fine and you'll learn a lot.
