He was one of the best art teachers I ever had during my school days. Agreed that he was a bit eccentric but he had an eye for talented students and really makes an effort to inspire his students.

Everyone complains how he's so annoying or weird. If you want to have a future involving art, he will try to accomplish your goals. He's a real good art teacher and one of the best in dozo. Everyone complains how he's hard because he takes it seriously.

Most people don't like him but you really have to give him a chance. He makes lame jokes and has a weird sense of humor but you grow accustomed to it. He is a great teacher with a passion for the arts. If you want to be an artist, he's the one to go to.

I graduated in 1991. Great teacher- just enough guidance, yet allowed for artistic independence. I later went onto RISD, and now have a masters in Art Education. Many people are quick to misinterpret him; if you are serious, he will give you his all.

Typical art work and too many rules.....My guidance teacher asked me if I'd like to take his class again and I literally laughed out loud. Take art with Salisbury or Mavrikis or any other teacher. You'll be ALOT happier, trust me.

Even though I never pursued an "art" career as he always wants his students to, I still miss the man. I am now in college and I still draw from time to time because of his enlightenment. I will always remember the memories of being in his art class. =)

Great teacher. I do like his philosophic ideas but not during class. Although he is very helpful. A pretty cool teacher! Kinda pushy with the art.

His easiness depends on which class you're in. I agree with the person that said he goes on for the whole period w/out answering your question though.

He was hardly in the classroom and when he and you asked him a question he would go on the entire period about philosophy and not answer your question.
