She is a nice principal if you are on her good side.
Dr. Eckert cares too much about dress code. This is a public school for young students in the town, not a preppy private school. Having a dress code makes students rebel and try to get their freedoms back. Dr. Eckert needs to understand that she can trust the students to dress appropriately if she gives us the chance, not to send us to the office and call our parents when we wear shorts that are more than 3 inches above the knee.
Dr.Ekert is my least favorite teacher. She doesn't tell the truth at all and is hypocritical and manipulative. She is much to strict about dress code and other insignificant things, while she completely ignores important issues that need to be dealt with. Also, it is completely crazy that she won't give kids their report cards and next years schedule unless they turn in money for any books they lost throughout the year because the school administration is too cheap to repurchase them themselves.
She does an excellent job in a pretty tough role Huge energy, steps up to the tough calls, shows expertise, and defends principles. Absorbs constant pressure from active parent community.
Despite what other students say, she is very reasonable and kind if you behave and do well as a student.
