He is a chill teacher but he has very strong beliefs that he defends vehemently. He is very interesting and I like his class.

Had him for freshman religion he was an OK teacher, but he spends most of the class playing jeopardy and talking about the most random stuff. His class is a joke, mostly propoganda videos about trivial issues, such as drones or sweatshops. He's a funny guy who really cares about his students but when he's in a bad mood he likes to belittle his students intelligence. Best advice is don't talk unless he calls you out.

He is probably one of my favorite teachers. At first he seems crazy, but after a while he's just hilarious. Also he really gets you to understand the material by allowing you to retake the same quizzes.

Mr. Juillard was one of the best teachers I've had my entire academic career, and I'm getting my Ph.D. now. If you rate him any less than a 4, you either can't deal with tough love, discussions around the reality of U.S. politics, or you've simply not gone through enough poor educators to identify the gems. AMAZING TEACHER! Wish he taught at the graduate level, since that's the caliber of teaching you're lucky enough to receive at a high school level. --Kate Beal, St. Ignatius Class of 2006

I had Mr. Juilliard for both Freshmen and Senior Religious Studies. St. Ignatius of Loyola would be proud to know that he instructs his students in a manner that makes them want to set the world on fire.

Mr. j is one of the best teachers ever and he only gave us homework when we were behaving badly or if he was sick. Jeopardy is the best.

Mr. J is the MAN !! Seriously though, he does like to scare the kids, but thats ok, and he is only unstable around grading periods. Jeopardy and the penguins were the best. The posters rocked!!!

Absolutely nuts and awesome at the same time. He helps to broaden perspectives on the US policy (sometimes too often) and games of jeopardy and the occasional classwork make this class enjoyable.

The most hilarious teacher ever! But very scary b/c of his unstable mood swings. Easy quizes, easy final, and is awesome at Jeopardy! So what if he points out the flaws of the U.S., I love his posters.

I didnt like him alot because he's a bit of a propaghandist. In retrospect, he's actually good teacher. He's better when he leads debates. Everything everyone has said here is true.

Anyone who thinks this guy is a good teacher should have gone to St Rita. All you will learn in his class is why America is bad. He'll spend the year boring you with his politics instead of teaching a class.

Great guy but incredibly mentally unstable - be prepared to be randomly threatened with failure. Also, to pass any of his courses be ready to embrace communism. In the end, easy A.
