It was the second day of my freshman year and he was my first class. I was the second seat on the left next to the wall of the classroom. He started the class by checking our copybooks to see if we did the homework. I of course didn't so he decided to slap me as hard as an old man could across a 14 year old kids face… This wasn't in the 60's or anything it was 1999. Ask anyone from that class that year I guarantee you they remember that day. Why he didn't get fired that day i'll never know.
picks on kids cause they don't know the material. Loves latin a little too much. A good guy, if you know the stuff.
puts students down and picks on them rather than helping them; you can't ask a question in class because he'll only make fun of you
"me EDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!" at least thats how he introduced himself
I had Mr. Scanlon when I was at the Prep 25 years ago. Tough teacher but he made sure that you learned the subject.
His class can be passed by simply memorizing what he tells you. You don't actually have to learn. His jokes are awful!
A teacher should never pick on a student this is not a good teacher. Learn how to teach and how to control your anger.
this class is hilarious because scanlan has the temper of a three year-old. tell him you didnt study the translation and watch the fireworks go off.
Uncle Ed is a great teacher, sometimes he picks on kids but as long as your not one of them its funny.
kind of a stale class, mr s is a fake tough guy, but youll learn your stuff
Scanlan is tough on some, but just do the easy studing in the class before or last night and you'll be fine. You might learn too.
Don't be intimidated by this man. Latin is difficult regardless of teacher. Wants to see you do well, just do the work and study for him and you'll do fine.
Mr. Scanlan is a decent teacher but way too negative during class. He's always making fun of kids when they don't know the answer
Thinks he is God Almighty, but isn't. He can be cool sometimes but very rarely. He puts people down to much when he should be boosting up our confidence.
