Why is everyone still rating her? She retired like 5 years ago or somewhere around that time, those comments from the last couple years can't be for her.

Very nice but a little too passionate about the students. Acts too much like an elementary school teacher

Very unpredictable in her personality-tough broad. She really likes teaching AP and can seem over-the-top, but as long as you do things her way you'll do fine in her class. The discussions in class are very good. and she loves grammar.

I think she was a hard teacher, but a good one. In the end I think she cared and really didn't settle for less than your best.

Outstanding mentor and a world class grammar teacher. She's a very tough talker but genuinely cares about her students. Anyone who's ever had her will remember her forever. Her class was a lot of work, but so is life. I did lousy on the AP English test, but still have managed to win writing awards at work. Don't take the test seriously, its a money making scam. Her class is very worthwhile, though.
