McMahon was wandering, bewildering, abrasive, arrogant, pompous, occasionally malicious, sometimes downright cruel -- and one of the better teachers that Bx Science had on the payroll in those years in any department ('84-'88.) I never liked him, because he deliberately made himself unlikeable, but I respected him, and I found that when I paid attention and really analyzed what was going on, I learned a great deal from him.
One of the greatest teachers I have had. He challenges you to think critically which is the most important tool any student should have.
Gets too distracted and talks about racism rather than chemistry. Needs to find professionalism in what he does.
he's a good guy,all u fools that don't like him just didn't want to learn.
He is a great teacher, when he teaches. He is very cryptic and can be very abrasive, but he really forces you to understand what your doing and make logical connections. Brilliant, and an unfair target of the administration, mostly due to his honesty
i dunno wut ur prob wit mr mcmahon iz but i think mr mcmahon wuz cool. he wuz a great teacher who DID show concern for his students. i think you guyz need 2 show him sum respect.
