I had Colleary for AT Art History, which is a legit AT course and not at all like an art course, so she's probably different for art. For AT, she's very knowledgable about certain subjects(Hopper!!) but completely clueless to anything non European or American. There's a lot of writing and she's sometimes confusing, but she's really enthusiastic. She's a bit ignorant though, and always got the two asian girls(who look nothing alike) in my class confused. She knew nothing about non western art.
complete bitch. said she would talk for 2 mins at the begginng of class, but ends up talking for the whole time (mostly insulting us). unhelpful, mean, not at all what an art teacher should be. if she hates kids so much, why is she a teacherjQuery172020865876390598714_1389741914725??????
I love colleary! she's enthusiastic, and usually really interesting, and really cares about her students.
hey of course shes challenging, but i loved her as a teacher! school=work. get over it.
i agree completely with the wanabee hipee statement, shes also late to every class
shes very helpful and teaches well. art is a class. hw in art is OK
um wt* is up w. art hw? besides the hw shes cool cuz shes always absent ;D
She seems to really be excited about what she teaches, and that is contagious. She takes it seriously and makes it fun at the same time. She's great.
She is one of the best teachers I've ever had. So interesting and smart. Makes you think. She's really funny and just the best!!
Ms. Colleary is a great teacher, and she's really nice!! I'm glad she gives homework because art deserves to be treated like a class, its fun homework anyway.
She overrates how important art is and doesn't take into consideration our busy schedules when assigning frankly useless and long assignments.
This is a great class - if you enjoy being lectured about... well i actually don't know but u will get lectured... oh and doing Art essays - FUN
She's too much of a typical Scarsdalian. Treats us like kids, gives boring assignments, grade-locks, and messes up people's projects in the guise of helping.
