Ms. Porcaro is getting too old to be a teacher, she will just write random things on the board and then realize she is wrong and confuse the whole class. She is rude and will call you out on things in front of the whole class, and she just assumes people know the material even though she didn't teach it.
She never clearly answers my questions or answers something entirely I did not ask. She rushes topics and doesn't explain clearly.
Ms. Porcaro is an awful teacher. She ask's us for questions then gets mad when we actually ask them. If we don't understand something she'll tell us how we're an honors class and how its not hard. She will just go faster and make everything harder to understand. He homework is harder the the examples in class. She once gave us a test and no one finished so i lost over 10 points for incompletness and failed the test. All together an awful teacher and i do not recomend her for anything.
One of the worst teachers at Preston because she can't teach. She basically spends almost all of the block discussing about how we're an honors class and we can't slack around (when really it's only a select few who are). She repeatedly accuses the students from Accelerated Alg. 1 in freshmen year of disrupting class instead of those students who were in honors - like really? Everyone from both classes were talking. She would also be very mean and rude to us at times and suddenly nice. ANNOYING.
I had her for two years. She's a nice person (though slightly annoying) and knows the work, she just can't teach it.
loved math till her. sweetest person ever, really smart, helpful, just cant convey her ideas in an easy to follow manner for me. had to drop her class mid year.
A good, fair teacher for those who actually want to do work.
Mrs. Porcaro is great, and helpful. Sadly, many of my classmates don't enjoy the class because it is chalenging, and they are not too bright. Thanks Mrs. P.
